1. What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, and login credentials (passwords are hashed — we never see them). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image.

Reset content: your promise, missions, status check-ins, “why” photos, reminder videos, prayers, and notes you write inside the app.

Ring and usage data: which Reset Ring is linked to your account, when it is tapped, and which resets you start or complete. This powers your streaks and progress.

2. How we use it

To run the Service: show your missions, countdowns, why photos, and reset flows back to you.

To personalize your reset: your selected status is used to choose the right flow and, for the “stagnant” status, to generate an encouragement message with an AI model. Only the minimal context needed is sent, and it is not used to train third-party models.

To improve the product using aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns.

3. What we never do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your promise, why photos, or reflections with advertisers, and we do not post anything publicly on your behalf.

4. Storage and security

Your data is stored in a managed cloud database with row-level security, meaning your records are only readable by your authenticated account. Media files are kept in private storage and served through short-lived signed links.

No system is perfectly secure, but we use encryption in transit, scoped access rules, and least-privilege service access to protect your information.

5. Sharing with service providers

We rely on a small set of providers to host the app, store data and media, send email, and generate AI encouragement text. They process data only on our instructions.

6. Your choices

You can edit or delete your missions, why photos, and reminder videos at any time from your profile. You can request full account deletion by emailing us, and we will remove your data within 30 days except where we must retain records by law.

7. Children

THE RESET™ is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Sensitive moments

Some reset flows surface crisis resources such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Tapping those resources contacts that organization directly — we do not receive or store the contents of those conversations.

9. Changes and contact

We will update this policy as the Service evolves and revise the date above. Questions or requests? Email hello@wearereset.com.
